The Production and manufacturing technology was the beginning of everything at Klotz - and is still a domain of the company, such as the fully automatic Klotz decorative ring machine, which is legendary in the household industry worldwide.

Even before measuring and testing technology and later assembly technology became important pillars of the company, we developed and built many solutions in the field of production and manufacturing technology. This is why the Klotz name also plays a special role in the household goods sector. The semi-automatic and fully automatic production and assembly of decorative and blind rings in particular was already a worldwide export hit in the 1970s and 1980s. Another example is the Klotz automatic cake molding machine, which produces cake molds around the clock with a cycle time of 4 seconds and faster.

Klotz is also well known in the household appliances sector, where systems have been realized primarily in the field of punching and perforating technology.

Fully automatic production system for the manufacture of decorative and trim rings

Our solution for the production of decorative and trim rings is a fully automatic decorative ring machine that produces ring sizes with different profiles between the minimum and maximum diameter from various materials. The set-up time is only around 2 hours and the machine monitors itself, allowing multiple machine operation or manual operation for intermediate sizes. The rotary indexing table controls the work process precisely, including exact overlapping and welding calibration.

KLOTZ offers a semi-automatic solution for the production of decorative and trim rings, consisting of an automatic coil feeder, a cut-to-length device, a welding device and a roller unit. The coiler enables alternate feeding and precise coil measurements, while the cutting device specifies an exact length and cuts the strip burr-free. The welding device offers different variations and flexibility in coil size, and the roller unit enables precise drive and ejection of the coils.

Fully automatic production system for the manufacture of springform pans

The fully automatic production system enables the economical production of high-quality cake pans. It solves problems such as quality fluctuations in the raw material and increases productivity thanks to a fast cycle time of up to 4 seconds. The system is designed for 3-shift operation and can produce different sizes of springform pans. It comprises three interlinked systems to prevent production downtime in the event of faults and is designed for scratch-free handling of the material and high precision in the drives.
