The steering assembly machines are used for type-dependent bolting of housing covers, measuring the axial play and presetting the frictional torque of commercial vehicle steering systems on the assembly line.
Automatic recognition of the steering types enables model changes without manual intervention.
The workpieces are fed in via a conveyor belt that runs through the stations.
